BRAND NEW VALEO WEBSITE

Valeo launches 19 new websites for automotive maintenance and repair professionals worldwide.

A new website at the very heart of Valeo’s digital strategy

Valeo has just released 19 new websites dedicated to automotive maintenance and repair professionals. The sites, including eighteen country versions* and an international version* were launched simultaneously.

Valeo’s priority is to make technical information quickly and easily accessible. For example, after entering a vehicle identification number (VIN code or registration number, depending on the country), only a single click is needed to view all related technical content. Part identification, as well as access to all the associated explanations, allows for safe and sure maintenance or repair work.

    Valeo’s product catalogue available online

Valeo’s product catalogue contains 45,000 parts for passenger cars and 5,000 parts for trucks. 10,000 of these parts are brand new, having been added throughout 2020.

This constant increase in part numbers and the technological changes they represent can make things complex for automotive professionals. Valeo’s new websites were developed with end-users in mind, and are geared to make their operations safer and easier. These digital tools provide quick and free access to important technical information without requiring to register nor leave contact details.

As an added feature, Valeo’s product catalogues can be viewed online in digital format or downloaded as a PDF.

    Tech@ssist: Digital services for workshops

Valeo’s Tech Assist solution makes information and online training easily accessible from any kind of device (computers, tablets, or smartphones):

Searching for parts is now extremely fast, safe, and easy, with the guarantee that searched-for items correspond precisely to the vehicle model. Technical content includes bulletins, installation instructions and videos, and are available in one single space for convenient viewing.

Training of car and truck aftermarket professionals has become a key element in an increasingly complex industry. Very few employees of independent workshops attend training courses. To address this situation, Valeo has decided to make over 450 webinars easily available on the Tech@ssist training platform, and the numbers tell the story of just how helpful they really are: In 2020, close to 60,000 people viewed those online training modules worldwide.

Digital innovation: One of Valeo’s strategic pillars

Innovation is part of Valeo’s DNA. Innovation is not just about products, it’s about services and digital tools, as well. Valeo’s 19 new websites demonstrate the group’s motivation to offer automotive maintenance and repair professionals the very best in tools and information when they need them, and where they need them.
