CAUTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART

<p>This document must be thoroughly reviewed prior to the replacement of the receiver drier or the accumulator. Compliance with the procedures and recommendations herein is essential to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the spare part.</p>

<h3>CAUTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Ensure that the underlying failure has been correctly identified before proceeding with the installation of the new receiver drier or accumulator.</li>
	<li>The packaging of the product must be inspected for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Any such damage must be reported immediately.</li>
	<li>Extreme caution must be exercised during the unpacking of the product to avoid any damage and ensure that the caps are present and closing the pipes.</li>
	<li>The product must not be disassembled, modified, or used for any purpose other than its intended function.</li>
</ul>

<h3>CAUTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Prior to commencing any repair work on the vehicle, ensure that the engine has sufficiently cooled to a safe working temperature.</li>
	<li>Special attention must be given to not contaminate the new receiver drier or accumulator with moisture and debris before the installation by keeping the caps on the pipes.</li>
	<li>Before fitting the receiver drier or accumulator, verify that its tubes are compatible with the vehicle’s pipes, and ensure that the mounting points align correctly with those on the vehicle.</li>
	<li>Only certified and qualified technicians are authorized to handle the vehicle’s A/C system. All work must be conducted in compliance with applicable local and national safety regulations, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment must be used.</li>
</ul>

<h3>CAUTIONS DURING INSTALLATION OF THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Be aware there is highly pressurized refrigerant in the system that could lead to severe burning by cold and chemical exposure if the refrigerant is not recovered.</li>
	<li>The refrigerant must be recovered from the system using an approved A/C recovery unit in accordance with applicable safety and environmental regulations. Refrigerant is classified as hazardous waste and must never be vented into the atmosphere.</li>
	<li>Following any opening of the refrigerant circuit, it is strongly recommended to replace all relevant seals to ensure system integrity and prevent future leaks.</li>
	<li>To maintain optimal performance and avoid contamination, protective caps on new components should only be removed immediately prior to installation.</li>
	<li>All fittings and components must be torqued to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications to ensure proper sealing and avoid mechanical or operational failures.</li>
	<li>Final system recharging must be carried out in full compliance with OEM specifications, including thorough system flushing, vacuum creation, and recharging with the precise type and quantity of refrigerant and oil specified for the vehicle.</li>
</ul>

<h3>CAUTIONS AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW VALEO’S SPARE PART</h3>

<ul>
	<li>After installation, check for any signs of refrigerant leakage and verify the correct functioning of the A/C system. The system should generate the recommended cabin temperature, and there should be no abnormal noises.</li>
