As a multi-specialist, Valeo has created a brand universe respecting the identity of each of them. Cibié, Marchal, PJ and SWF play a strong role, which helps to strengthen the Group's reputation.
“Spezial Werkzeugfabrik Feuerbach”, a leading brand in Germany, joined Valeo Group in 1998 to strengthen Valeo’s position on the wiper market.
With its strong position on the original equipment market, particularly for industrial vehicles and among German makers, SWF also offers its finest technologies on the aftermarket.

The company really started to grow after the arrival of Mr Cibié’s son - Pierre Cibié. A brilliant inventor, who was also an expert within the technical and legal fields, changed the automotive lighting world. He was the very first to launch the concept of rectangular headlamps that could fit inside the car body (they were an application for Citroën Ami 8.)
Nearly 150 patents were created during the last 80 years. Cibié is a supplier for rallies and most famous car races in the world.
