There are a number of reasons for wipers to leave streaks across the windscreen during operation. The buildup of dirt, traffic film and other particles on the windscreen in addition to heavy frost, ice or snow build up around the blade will contribute to causing damage to the rubber element during operation.
The wipers will need to be replaced to rectify the issue. However to prevent subsequent damage to the new blades the following action should be undertaken:
There are a number of reasons for wipers to leave water haze across the windscreen during operation.
