TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF Specialist Club- Playstation 5 Promotion

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ARTICLE 1 : PROMOTER

The promoter Valeo Service UK Ltd, the registered office of which is at Heming Road – Washford, REDDITCH, B98 0DZ, ENGLAND (hereinafter referred to as the “Promoter”) is organizing from 15th of May until 30th of June at midnight local time included, a free game with obligation to buy (hereinafter referred to as the “Game”).

ARTICLE 2 – SCOPE

The Game is open to individuals who are over 18 (Participant(s)), living in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and who have a valid email address, but excluding personnel (and their families) of the Promoter, members of partner companies, or anyone having contributed towards the organization of the Game.

The Promoter reserves the right to ask any Participant to prove that he/she meets these conditions. Anyone who does not meet these conditions or who refuses to do so will be excluded from participating in the Game.

Should a Participant win a prize in contravention with these terms and conditions or through fraudulent or disloyal means, the prize concerned will not be awarded to him, without prejudice to any legal action that might be taken against the Participant by the Promoter or third parties.

Shall in particular be considered as fraud the fact for a Participant to enroll and take part in the Game under fictitious name(s) or borrowed from one or more third parties. Each Participant should enroll and take part in the Game under his own name. Similarly, the use of processes allowing a mechanical participation in the Game is prohibited. The breach of these rules will result in the Participant’s permanent exclusion from the Game and future promotions and Game run by the Promoter.

Participation in the Game implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

ARTICLE 3 – HOW TO TAKE PART

To play, Participants are invited to :

• Visit our app, available for download on both Android and iOS platforms. Sign up with your workshop credentials to unlock exclusive features like earning points for every valeo product you purchase. Be the first to redeem your points for great GIFTS!

No other way of entering the Game will be considered. It is specified that no participation will be accepted outside of the Game Period.

Only one entry per Participant (same last name, first name and company name of the garage) is authorized. Any registration (identification, information) that is incomplete or erroneous, whether made voluntarily or not, will be considered void.

Article 4 – PRIZES OFFERED

The Game provides the winner a Playstation 5 console for sinning up successfully via Specialist Club App! Only one Playstation 5 will be given away!

Article 5 – DESIGNATION OF WINNERS

. At the end of the Promotion, the participants will be selected randomly.

In exceptional circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to replace the advertised prize with an equivalent prize of the same value or with similar properties. Prizes cannot be contested or disputed. Prizes cannot be redeemed in cash or exchanged for other goods or services.

In the event that the winner cannot or does not want to claim all or part of his prize, for whatever reason, under the conditions set out in the current terms and conditions, s/he shall lose his entitlement to the prize and will not be able to claim any compensation or remuneration.
Winners give permission for checkups to be carried out regarding their identity. Any falsification of identity will result in elimination from the Promotion. Furthermore, the Promoter reserves the right to take legal action, through whatever means, against any attempt to violate the current terms and conditions, particularly in the event of inaccurate information.

ARTICLE 6 – ADVERTISING

The Promoter reserves the right to use the personal data of the winners (name and surname) in all advertising and promotional operations related to this Game with the express authorization of the winner.

It should be noted that the winner is not entitled to any remuneration or additional advantage other than the prize he won, as a result of such usage. In any event, personal data used for these types of promotion-related events, will only be available for the 12 month period following the Game.

ARTICLE 7 – RESPONSIBILITY

The Promoter may not be held responsible should a participant seek to use contact information belonging to any individual without their consent.

Participants are reminded that the Internet is not a secure medium. The Promoter cannot, therefore, be held responsible in the event of possible contamination by computer viruses or resulting from breaches by a third party while participants are playing the game, and declines all liability for any consequences that may arise while participants are connected to the network via its website, unless these are caused directly and exclusively by the Promoter. The Promoter cannot be held responsible in the event of Internet problems or network failure, particularly if caused by external malicious acts that may prevent the smooth running of the promotion. More specifically, the Promoter may not be held liable for any damage caused to participants, their computer equipment or data stored therein or any resulting consequences that may affect the entrant's personal or professional activity, unless this is shown to be caused directly and exclusively by the Promoter.

Furthermore, the Promoter cannot be held liable in the event of e-mail or postal delivery issues.

The Promoter shall not be held responsible in the event that one or more participants are unable to connect to the Game website and play because of a problem or technical fault related, in particular, to network congestion or malicious activities.

Prizes awarded to winners cannot be contested in any way and cannot be exchanged for their cash equivalent or any other prize, for whatever reason. The Promoter cannot be held responsible in the event of any incident resulting from the use or non-use of the awarded prize, which cannot be substituted for another prize or its cash equivalent, unless decided otherwise by the Promoter.

The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any delays and/or losses, or the total or partial destruction of any goods caused by the postal services, or any other unforeseeable circumstance.

Any participant who attempts to use bots or other automated processes, who uses false information or an e-mail address other than his own, or more generally any means aimed at gaining unfair advantage over other entrants, during the course of the Game, will be automatically disqualified.

Any inaccurate or incomplete information, or details that violate the terms and conditions, will result in disqualification from the promotion and the participant concerned will not be eligible to claim any of the promotion prizes on offer. All participation must be fair: it is strictly forbidden to modify or attempt to modify game arrangements, by any means whatsoever, in particular with a view to changing the results.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify at any time, and without notice, any participant who has not complied with the terms and conditions. It is absolutely forbidden for any natural person to play using an account opened on behalf of another person.

ARTICLE 8 – ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participation implies unreserved acceptance of the current terms and conditions. Any practical difficulties relating to the interpretation or application of the current Terms and conditions shall be settled by the Promoter without appeal. Any requests, made in writing or by telephone, relating to the interpretation or application of the current terms and conditions, the rules or mechanics of the game, or the selection of the winner, will be disregarded.

ARTICLE 9 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions may be consulted on the Valeo Specialist Club website or mobile application, game page.

ARTICLE 10 – PERSONAL DATA

The data collected will be processed by computer. It will be used by the Organizing Company for the purpose of registering for the Valeo Specialist Club program and for managing the Game. In accordance with the Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify and object to any data concerning you that is used by the Promoter and its service providers to manage your account and provide information about your services, as well as for any direct marketing operations. You may object, as soon as the information is communicated to the Promoter, to these direct marketing operations. Your prior consent may also be required for certain direct marketing operations carried out by electronic means, particularly those offering information on the offers and services of partners.

ARTICLE 11 – APPLICABLE LAW

The Promotion, its Rules and Regulations, and the interpretation of said Terms and conditions are subject to the law of England.
